The world of business and self-improvement has evolved a lot in the past decade. With this in mind, what the world needs more of are communities of young people seeking betterment (with their fitness, relationships, and businesses) who can support each other and collaborate. Building that kind of community is the vision of Venture Mentality's newest project-a clothing line featuring apparel with fitness and personal development as the themes. As a founder, Jacob O'Connor builds out this new funnel. He hopes to inspire more people his age to start businesses and begin chasing their ambitions as early as now.
Jacob is an 18-year-old student who has made it big in the podcasting world. He is the founder of Venture Mentality, a community of success seekers striving for more in their life. More growth, happiness, and success. One of the community's newest initiatives is creating a lifestyle apparel brand. The line aims to build a tight-knit community of people who are dedicated to self-improvement and seek to advance their lives.
The community's goal is to create means to elevate the mindsets, habits, and culture of people who follow the brand and the group. Venture Mentality invites all who consider themselves to be risk-takers, innovators, and change-makers to start a conversation that will push everyone to pursue their loftiest of dreams.
A recent high-school graduate, Jacob has never let his youth slow down his pursuit of greatness. He has every intent to succeed in life and continues to surround himself with like-minded people who will push him further and whom he can do the same for. His apparel brand is a necessary step to do that. The project is not just about shirts and clothing. The products are a message that builds an identity amongst those who wear it. The brand looks to be like Nike, connecting its clientele to people with the same values all around the world.
Venture Mentality clothing follows the success of Jacob's podcast of the same name that started over a year ago. The show has received great feedback from listeners all over, gathering a 5-star rating based on 112 reviews from Apple podcast listeners.
Some prominent business leaders have appeared in Venture Mentality's podcast show, including co-founder of Netflix Marc Randolph, Founder of Everbowl Jeff Fenster, and TV Personality Keaton Hoskins. Jacob has also interviewed some high-level professional athletes on the show. Some of the sports icons that he's had on the show are Sports Illustrated's best brain trainer Trevor Moawad and Hall of Fame Hockey player Chris Pronger.
Building an apparel line to go side by side with the show, Jacob hopes that this will strengthen the Venture Mentality tribe and grow the company's influence and reach. All these are stepping stones to helping more people his age be inspired to pursue their passions and build a business venture around them.
