"We need to let you go."
Those were the first words Troy Ericson heard from his Facebook Ads client.
But it didn't seem to make sense. The ads weren't doing bad. In fact, they looked pretty promising.
But when Troy asked a few questions to his client, he found out that their emails were doing terrible-not the ads.
Less than 10% open rates, spam issues, and no money.
So Troy decided to try it out.
He recrafted their 'welcome email,' removed people from the email list who never opened an email, and started writing 3 emails per week for them.
Soon enough, the client was out of spam and started to make money. Which also meant that the ads worked again.
Eventually, that client made over $50,000 in one month-just from email.
So Troy decided to start charging clients to write their emails and manage their lists for them. It seemed far different from all the people online who run Facebook Ads anyway.
He started off small, charging $2,000 per month, and eventually worked his way up to $3K, $4K, or even $5K per month for each client. And his clients still get massive returns. Which attracted even more clients.
Soon enough, he had 6 clients and by the end of the year made more than $300,000 by simply writing emails and coaching others on how to do the same.
And that's when he became known as Troy Ericson, the 'Email Paramedic'.
He says it all comes down to staying out of spam and the Promo tab, sending a lot of emails, and strategizing with the business owner for best results.
When you think about it, it's easy to see how successful this business can be. It's a win-win for both the business and the writer.
And after picking up a few clients, it can be a lucrative and fulfilling career, too.
