Bail is a right everyone should have access to, but not everyone is given a chance to reclaim their freedom with it. Many people are wrongly accused or trapped within a system of social injustices even to this day. On a mission to provide support and resources to people who want to reclaim their freedom and help them build a life outside of jail, Miss Brooke Harlan built Brooke's Bail Bonding.
Miss Brooke Harlan is the owner and CEO of Brooke's Bail Bonding, located in Nashville, Tennessee. She built her company after following a calling to get people out of jail and keep them out of jail by transforming their lives. Her mission is to bring awareness to the social injustices her clients face due to the broken justice system. Miss Brooke uses many platforms to empower her clients and hive a voice to the voiceless, amplifying their stories to the world in an effort to raise awareness and call for positive changes in the system and the rest of the world.
"We are in the business of getting people out of jail and keeping them out of jail by providing resources and consistent support," shared Miss Brooke. "In addition, we take preventive measures seriously within the communities we serve in order to prevent people from becoming victims to the judicial system. Some of our preventive measures are shown through the peer support services we offer, as well as certified life coaching sessions, and offering creative solutions to generational problems our community members suffer from," the CEO further explained.
Brooke's Bail Bonding targets people and communities that are actively seeking change. The company's mission is to encourage growth and change within their communities, and they strive to amplify the social injustices people from all walks of life suffer from. Miss Brooke believes that letting the general public know the plight of such people and communities is the first step in breaking a chain of injustices that have been keeping them trapped. The CEO and her team are taking proactive steps every day to bring awareness to the fact that everyone's constitutional right to make bail is being threatened by the system and that there is a huge need to advocate for the justice system to eliminate the bail reform.
Determined to make a consistent change, Brooke's Bail Bonding serves clients with an unmatched work ethic. The company takes calls 24/7, entertaining and listening to clients to ensure that their problems and concerns are heard. Furthermore, Brooke's Bail Bonding's bail agents are certified life coaches equipped to provide the support and resources clients desperately need.
"Without the bail industry, there would be enormous chaos, and it would be a scary world to live in. To eliminate cash bail is to eliminate extensive resources and sources of support for people who need a fighting chance. Many people are born with disadvantages in their corner, and those disadvantages tend to stem from generational traumas," shared Miss Brooke. "Many of our clients are not bad people but have had bad things happen to them. We, as a society, need to be more careful about the judgments we pass onto those who have been severely disadvantaged and don't have many resources to change."
In five years, Miss Brooke envisions Brooke's Bail Bonding expanding to more counties in Tennessee and other states across the country.
